[RL with JAck Frost >> Jack's surprise B-day party]

(Nancy is 36  but Elphie is now just 17 even if she looks older.)

Nancy was carrying the presents for Jack from her room to the living room to wrap them. She didn’t expected Elphaba to brought a present for Jack too, but she appeared on Nancy’s apartment with a green bay packer football shirt on her right arm and her broom (she used it as a world hopper to get to New York) in the other.

Nancy was surprised, how Elphaba knew that Jack liked football was a mystery to her, but she suspect that the witch chose that present because it was green. It was the same sensation that told her that even if Elphaba hate Jack’s horrible Jokes she likes him because both are..well, different. When she was finished with the presents she turned to see what Elphaba was doing and grinned.

-Uhm…Elphie. It’s really nice to you to make appear the decoration with magic but…I think you should change it.-
-Why? -The witch said with a frown. -What’s wrong with them?- They look perfect to her. A big shinny letters were floating in the middle of the air clamming: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK! A lot of balloons, and candy were around the whole room too. It looked a bit too girly, but the only parties Elphaba assisted ever were for Galinda and all looked like that.

-They’re perfect it’s just that all of them are green. Can you change them into blue? Please.-

Nancy avoided Elphaba’s murder glance thanks to malky, who jumped to her arms.

“Jack will be soon here” She thought.

There was a knock on her apartment door to the tune of "Jingle Bells"

Elphaba looked confused at the door and malky meowled happily.

-It's Jack! -Nancy said in a quietly voice .- quickly Elphie, turn off the lights with magic!- She turned to the direction of the door but suddently all was black and her foot connected with the table.

-Ouch!- Nancy bit her lip.- Not that fast. -caressing her damaged feet, Nancy called her cat softly. -Now Malky, you know what to do.

the cat meowled again, and ran to the door, hanging over the bolt. Malky managed to learn how to open door before Nancy found her and that why the cat appear suddenly on the most strange places.

The door opened and Malky greeted their guest with a loud "MEOOOOWW" and moving her tail.

Frost jumped back for a moment. He didn't expect the cat to jump at him like that now. "Hey there" He looked down at the cat, "Are you the only one home now?"

Malky blinked in response and jumped to the floor waiting him to enter in the flat. She crossed the dark door and looked back at Jack waiting for him to follow her. When he did it, the lights turned on suddenly and two female voices claimed at the same time (even if elphaba's was a bit less enthusisastic):

-HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYYYY !!!-

(Sorry for making Jack enter to the house, but I needed him to do that. I hope you don't mind ^^')

Frost stared shocked. He wasn't sure how to react. He just stared and blinked.

There was a few second of silence.A really awkward silence.

-See? He don't like them. The letters looked better in green.- Elphaba crossed her arms at Nancy and the other woman pouts in frustration.

-It's not that!- Nancy imagined that Jack was a bit shocked. He would expected more people maybe. Three persons didn't make much of a party but it was a party after all. So they were going to have some fun together even if it kills them. That thought cheer her up.

She took his arm and throw him to the living room.-Come on Jack! we have a few things for you!.- She said with a grin.

"No, no. It's not that now. It's just..."

Frost felt himself being yanked into another room.
He looked at the three of them, his icy eyes almost looked liked he was about to cry.

"... Don't know what to say now..."

-Well if you want to complain it was all her fault.- Elphaba pointed to Nancy accusatory, but she was in fact trying to relax the situation. Nancy punched her on the arm softly and Elphaba grinned at her.

Nancy turned back to Jack.

-You don't have to said nothing dear. Just do whatever you want, today is your day.- Malky meowed in agreement. -Now relax, I will come back in a minute. - And after that she disappeared on the kitchen.

Elphaba plopped herself on a comfy chair and moved her hand to indicate the couch.

-Make your self at home.-

((Uh oh, it's 4:15 a.m. on SPain Oo must go to sleep. See you!!!))

Frost was quiet and took a seat on the couch. He wasn't sure what to do. His day? Wasn't it always his day? Least that's how he lived it by. He had no worries or cares. The elf sat cross legged. Not sure what to do it was all rather much to him after all. He looked over at Elphaba, "So, we finally meet, eh?"

The witch smiled.

-Yes, finally. I heard a lot of you in the comm and Nancy told me about you too. For Lurlina, that woman is like and hurricane.- Elphaba said with a shark smile.

-Now just tell me that you don't like that stupid man she keeps as boyfriend and we will be friends forever.You can call me ELphie by the way. -

"Oh, you mean Robert now?" Frost's hands where folded ontop his legs. "Can't say I do Elphie." Frost said with a sly smile. "In fact if I ever do meet him I plan on freezing him now."

-Oh that's not nice...he will be such a horrible ice statue.- Elphaba grinned. Malky came across the room and jumped to Elphaba's lap as she meowed. The witch looked at the cat for a moment and then back at Jack with a misterious smile.

-Oh, it's the time now. Bye, Bye Jack.- She made a move with her right hand and the lights turned off.

The darkness surrounded them for a moment until Nancy came to the living room with a cake on her hands. It was a candle on the middle and the letters "make a wish" on it. She left the cake in the table in front of Jack and started to sing a short b-day song for Jack with Elphaba. Both looked at Jack after that, waiting.

Nancy blinked as 2 pair of eyes looked at her.

-I didn't know either.- Elphaba said. -I never had a party for my own before either.-

Nancy sweatdropped.

-Just blow the candle while you thought a wish, but don't tell us what you wished.Sorry you two, I'ts...a human tradition.-

Frost looked at Nancy. Did she say blow.
"Nancy... ^{how should I put this?}
I can't blow on the candles now. Least not without adding extra icing to the cake now, dear."

Frost looked at the candle trying to figure how to put out the candle.

-Oh... you're right.- She looked ashamed.- Didn't thought about it. Ok then.- She sat down next to Jack.

-I will blow the candle, but you have to think on your wish. One, two..three!-

A wish, he thought. What could... actually what would he wish for?
More power? Someone to love him? Be moral?

Sighing, he closed his eyes. "Alright. I have one in mine."

Elphaba took Nancy's camera and waited, the other two were too distracted to notice her. Nancy was looking at Jack who had his eyes closed, concentrating in his wish, waiting for him. When he was ready, Nancy blew the candle with a smile.

(I really can't picture Jack wishing to be moral XD))

After the candle was blown out Frost opened his eyes.
"Thank you." He said to Nancy.

-You're welcome dear.- Nancy claped her hands and gave him a big smile.- Now, now, time for the presents!!!!

A cracking sound was heard and then two presents appeared in the table in front of them. Nancy looked at them surprised but then she noticed Elphaba's grinning face

-oH, thanks Fae.-
-You're welcome. Now, come on. Open them!-

"Oh... alright." Frost blinked, he had figured there where going to eat cake first suppose not.
Frost picked up the presents and tore them each open, like a little kid on Xmas.

After opening Elphaba's present Frost turned her; "How... how did you know now?" As he smiled.

Nancy looked at her, still a bit puzzled.

-You're unbelievable.- Nancy told her smiling back.
-Yes I am.- Elphaba was still grinning.- Come on, open the Nancy's one!-

She pushed the big silver box onto Jack lap.

"Alright, alright." Frost was still getting use to the whole deal as it was. And once again he tore open the big box that was in front of him.

Nancy was nervous. She knew that Jack like videogames and music so she hope that he enjoy the play station 3 with the "Guitar hero" game.

-A singer?- Elphaba said with a sincere smile. She loves to sing to.-Oh then after we can play with...Nan what's the name of that game we play the last time I was here?.-
-Uhm...tekila drinking contest?-
-No, before that. The other game with the microphone.-
-Oh you mean the singstar. Oh yes we should play that too. I want you two to sing me a song You will see Jack Elphie have a really nice voice.-She said giving Jack a big piece of (blue) cake

Frost picked up his fork and started munching on his cake.

"Sing Star? Never heard of it now." The elf replied between bits of cake.

"Well, I'm sure she does now." He finished with a smile and light chuckle

Elphaba blushed a bit, she was not used to compliments. She avoided Jack's gaze, taking the piece of cake Nan offered to her and munching it. They ate and talk for a long time, until nearly all of the cake was gone. While Elphie and Jack were talking about magic Nancy looked for the sing start game and put it on the machine.

-I think that all is ready now.- She announced.

Frost turned his gaze over to Elphaba when she announced that she was ready to sing. His ears twitched. Ready to listen.

Nancy love it when elphaba sing, she was always amazed that she can produce that volume and power in her voice. She really born with a great talent.

After playing a bit with Nancy's PS3 Elphaba managed to find the song she was looking for and started to sing.

(OOOC:: It's "Fly me to the moon" form Frank sinatrea. You should hear it sang by Diana Krall, it's really amazig. My favourite song ever)

-Oh perfect song!- Nancy clapped her hands and took the microphone.

They keep singing soon all the night and Elphaba made a lot of photos when both were distracted.It was a bit late when they finally relaxed on the couch.

-Owww, I'm so tired.- Nancy said with a happy cat like smile.- I never had much fun in years.-
